In 2020, it was 25 years since the Beijing Platform for Action set out how to remove the systemic barriers that hold women back from equal participation in all areas of life, whether in public or in private. Despite some progress, real change has been agonizingly slow for the majority of women and girls in the world.

 

Today, not a single country can claim to have achieved gender equality. Multiple obstacles remain unchanged in law and in culture. As a result, women remain undervalued, they continue to work more, earn less, have fewer choices, and experience multiple forms of violence at home and in public spaces.

Can you imagine a world where all people regardless of their gender, sexuality, ethnicity, social status, religion have equal rights and opportunities?

 

Imagine equality in political leadership, classrooms, corporate boardrooms, and factory floors. Women and girls have equal say in decisions that affect their lives, their bodies, their policies, and their environment, from villages to cities.

Today we commit to Implement internal mechanisms and rules to support an inclusive, enabling and flexible working environment free of discrimination. Train staff and roll our mandotory training programme before the end of 2023.

Today we commit to cultivate a positive and supportive organizational culture among all staff by ensuring staff at all levels complete mandatory UN courses on gender and harassment, including sexual harassment in the workplace
